Organizations representing older americans held a joint news conference at the National Press Club , TECHNOLOGY AND SENIOR CITIZENS, to announce a partnership to encourage senior citizens to use ‘on-line’ computer services.

Organizers say the system, dubbed SENIORNET, will enable senior citizens to access information on aging, women’s health, consumer and financial information.

They can also use computers to provide input to the 1995 House conference on aging.
