President Bill Clinton and Comedian Bill Maher spoke before the annual dinner gathering of White House Radio and Television correspondents. President Clinton noted that for 51 years, the correspondents had joined together to celebrate the best of the electronic media. He said that, while the times, rules, and practices had changed over the years, he believed that most of them wanted what’s best for the country, and that they did their jobs in the hope they’re doing them well enough to advance the interests of the United States and to keep the American Dream alive. close
