The panelists discussed economic trends, legislation and policies and how they affect women. The event was sponsored by Women of Washington, a group that holds events on topics of significance and interest to women in the greater Washington community. Topics discussed include how women get economic power and how they maintain it in the coming decade, how job prospects have increased and how many are in the labor force, how wages have increased for women but dropped slightly for men, the rise in entrepreneurship and expectations of risk that differ from men and women. The group then took questions from the audience.
