At a ceremony outside the National Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. speakers participated in a ceremony honoring those imprisoned in concentration camps during World War II. Secretary of Defense William Perry addressed the audience as well as Retired Brigadier General Felix Sparks who took part in the liberation of the concentration camps at Dachau. May 8th 1995 marked the 50th anniversary of the World War II victory in Europe. close
