William Jenney, Vermont Division for Historic Preservation Regional administrator, was interviewed during the C-SPAN School Bus’s stop in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, at President Calvin Coolidge’s childhood home. Mr. Jenney talked about the home where the 30th president was born on July 4, 1872, and lived as a child. President Coolidge was the only president born on Independence Day and the only president sworn in by his father. Vice President Coolidge was sworn in as president at this home on August 3, 1923. close
