The Co-Chairmen announced the findings of the Senate Ethics Committee in its investigation into sexual misconduct charges against Senator Bob Packwood, R-Oregon. The Committee found him guilty of sexual harassment and of using his position to benefit himself financially by soliciting jobs for his wife. The misconduct included trying to cover up important evidence of wrongdoing. The Committee recommended expulsion from the Senate. After their prepared remarks, the Senators took questions from the media. close
