Dropping the First Atomic Bomb
General Paul Tibbets, U.S. Air Force (Retired), reminisced about his experiences as a pilot on the Enola Gay, the airplane which dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. The bomb was dropped on Hiroshima August 6, 1945.
