Current news events and political issues were examined through reviews of the morning newspapers; interviews with journalists, newsmakers and legislators; and viewer telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. In the first segment, David Rohde talked about the prospects for peace in Bosnia and the possible use of U.S. troops there. David Lawsky talked about the agreement on balancing the budget between the president and Congress that led to another continuing resolution. In the next segment, Eleanor Cliff and Andrew Ferguson discussed current headlines, including the budget agreement. In the next segment, Ron Paul talked about his life after his service in Congress.
