President Clinton spoke to U.S. and Northern Ireland dignitaries as well as employees at a factory in Belfast. Two school children, one Protestant and one Catholic spoke briefly about their hopes for peace in Northern Ireland. President Clinton then talked about the Northern Ireland peace process and about Northern Ireland’s connections with the U.S. Following his speech, the president shook hands and greeted employees, school children, and others. close
