After meeting with representatives of several human rights organizations and Bosnian refugees, President Bill Clinton spoke about the horrible human rights violations of the conflict in Bosnia and the need to prevent further suffering and to help Bosnia rebuild. After his remarks, he signed a declaration making December 10, Human Rights Day, and December 10 through 16, Human Rights Week. close
