Nancy Ambrose, ABC News talked about current headlines, including the budget reconciliation process. Former GOP nominee for Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Lonnie Bristow, American Medical Association talked about current issues, including the budget and U.S. Cuba policy. Marian Wright Edelman, Children’s Defense Fund talked about her book, Guide My Feet, and about the current debate over social programs designed to aid poor children as part of the overall federal budget. Phil Keisling, Oregon Secretary of State talked about Oregon’s Senate primary race for Senator Packwood’s seat which the state conducted by mail. In the final segment, several persons by remote, telephone and in the studio discussed the environmental issues involved in the debate over balancing the budget. close
