First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton talked about her recently published book It Takes a Village, and Other Lessons Children Teach Us. The book focuses on factors that influence children and the environment in which children will best grow and develop. Ms. Clinton writes that there are an unbelievable amount of resources that are drawn upon in order to raise a child that becomes a caring, well-rounded adult. Ms. Clinton served on the board of the Children’s Defense Fund for twenty years and worked for the organization after graduating from Yale Law School. close
