Panelists discussed changes in how corporations and interest groups can influence governments. They examined issues such as lobbying and campaign reform, including the elimination of political action committees, and grassroots lobbying. After each person made a presentation, there was a discussion period with the audience. Leadership America is a non-profit group that sponsors leadership training seminars for women. Some of the panelist taking part were Ann Hodge, Browning-Ferris Industries Vice President for External Affairs, Bob Haines, Mobile Oil Corporation Government relations Representative, and Susan Tannenbaum, Common Cause Former Senior Lobbyist. close
