Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Adviser to President Carter and author of The Grand Failure, argued that due to massive economic, social, and moral failure, the communist system has collapsed. The world is currently witnessing a disintegration of communism. Brzezinski asserted that this is a major historical development and that the West will soon be entering a post-communist world where the Soviet challenge will be military only.
