Current news events and political issues focusing on foreign affairs were examined through reviews of the morning newspapers; interviews with journalists, newsmakers and legislators; and viewer telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. In the first segment, Mr. Quinn-Judge talked about current developments around the world, including Chinese and North Korea military maneuvers. In the newspaper roundtable, Mr. de Borchgrave and Mr. Oberdorfer talked about more international stories, including rising tensions in the Middle East and in Korea. In the final segment, several journalists and others further discussed various foreign affairs issues, Bosnia the Middle East and China. close
