At the Adams National Historic Site in Quincy, MA., Professor William Lee Miller from the University of Virginia, and an author spoke about his new book, “Arguing About Slavery: The Great Battle in the United States Congress.” He outlined John Quincy Adams' part in the debates over slavery in the early 19th century while he was a member of Congress.
