In a ceremony to begin the torch relay through the U.S. to Atlanta for the Paralympic Games, President William Jefferson Clinton spoke about several U.S. athletes by name and emphasized his administration’s efforts to include disabled people more in U.S. society. Over 3,500 athletes from over 120 countries will participate in the games. close
