The Washington Journal from Chicago during the Democratic National Convention. In the first segment, Tom Fiedler, Miami Herald Political Editor & Columnist, talked about the Dick Morris resignation and President Clinton’s acceptance speech the previous evening. Ovet the Phone, Marvin Kalb, Shorenstein Center Director at Harvard Univ., talked about media coverage of the Dick Morris resignation. In the newspaper roundtable, Ellen Goodman, Boston Globe Syndicated Columnist, and Paul Greenberg, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Editorial Page Editor, further discussed these two topics.
