Lowell Rose, Phi Delta Kappa and Jack Jennings, Center on National Education Policy briefed reporters on the results of a recent Gallup poll on U.S. citizens' attitudes toward several issues in education, including crime and drug use, technology and school vouchers. Overall, they claimed that the survey showed that there is a broad level of support for public schools and also an impatience for improvement, especially in making schools safer. close
