As part of the Alf Landon lecture series, Senator Nancy Kassebaum (R-Kansas) spoke about various public policy issues, which included devolution of federal power, technological changes and the character of political campaigns. Senator Kassebaum was the daughter of Alf Landon, who ran for president in 1936. She was retiring after three terms in the U.S. Senate. close
