Upon his arrival in San Diego for the second presidential debate, Republican candidate Bob Dole spoke to supporters at a rally at the Broadway Street pier. Republican Vice Presidential candidate Jack Kemp contrasted the Dole and Clinton agendas on various issues of particular interest to Californians. In his remarks, Mr. Dole focused on his differences with President Bill Clinton on a variety of issues. He also promised to be more aggressive in the upcoming second presidential debate. close
