Max Cleland, Democratic Candidate for the U.S. Senate, and Guy Millner, Republican Candidate for the U.S. Senate faced off in Albany, Georgia in a debate moderated by Dawn Hobby, WALB-TV. The candidates debated Georgia issues in the race for the Senate seat vacated by retiring Senator Nunn. Cleland is former administrator of the Veterans' Administration in the Carter administration.
