Deputy Defense Secretary John White announced that Bernard Rostker would head a deeper investigation into Gulf War illnesses with an additional $27 million in funding. Mr. Rostker then briefed reporters on his goals in his new position and stressed that the investigation will expand beyond the destruction of a chemical weapons site at Kamisiyah. close
