Ward Connerly, chairman of the California Civil Rights Initiative, talked about the recently-passed California Proposition 209 which would change the California constitution to end affirmative action by government or public entities. He served as the chairman of the Proposition 209 effort. He also discussed whether laws which regulate governmental behavior should acknowledge and enforce racial distinctions and other issues.
