Author Mitchell Stephens discussed his new book which is an overview of the history of journalism over the last 3,000 years. Mr. Stephens indicated that he first became interested in the topic by reading the New York Post. He then embarked on a study of sensationalism in journalism and his work evolved into the delivery of the news in different forums. Mr. Stephens discussed why the vast history of journalism has been largely overlooked and why it is important to study and understand. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Stephens took questions from the audience. close
