President Clinton, his family and many Washington dignitaries attended an interfaith prayer service at the Metropolitan A.M.E. Church. The service included singing by several choirs and soloists and the congregation as, well as sermons by Jesse Jackson and several other ministers. The president and his family then left for the White House in a limousine. close
