Democratic National Committee members gathered to hear from President Clinton and Vice President Al Gore and elect new officers for the next four years. In this final portion, the vice president and president spoke to members about the recent election and the party’s future. In his remarks, the president thanked party leaders and activists for helping him win re-election and for helping other Democrats win. He also highlighted his administration’s accomplishments, the differences between the two major parties and his agenda for his second term.
