Senator Ted Murkowski (R-AK), the chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, briefed reporters on the status of Federico Pena’s nomination as Secretary of Energy. He announced that after discussions with the administration, he had scheduled the committee to vote on the nomination on March 6th.
