Sharyl Attkisson, CBS News' “Up to the Minute” Co-Anchor, talked specifically about campaign promises of welfare reform and the positive results so far of last year’s welfare reform legislation. Other panelists included Eleanor Clift of Newsweek, Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune, Blanquita Cullum of the National Association of Radio Talk Show Hosts and Lani Guinier, Law Prpfessor at the University of Pennsylvania. They discussed the impact of campaign promises on policy reforms in the public and private sectors. They also talked about gender issues and campaign finance reform.
