Participants in last weekend’s bipartisan congressional retreat in Hershey, Pennsylvania talked to reporters about the results of the meetings. They stressed that the more than 200 members who attended know each other on a more personal level which could help increase civility and reduce the rancor of debates. The weekend was organized by Reps. Skaggs and LaHood. After brief opening remarks, they took questions from the press. close
