Co-founder and Editor of American Prospect Robert Kuttner talked about economic trends and what they mean to U.S. workers. A special poll was commissioned for this annual public affairs conference which found that most people feel very uncertain about the economy. Mr. Kuttner said that although the economy is strong, individuals feel less connection with their employers. He also talked about the information society, the human need for community, the role of government in society, and the increasing gap between the rich and the poor. Following his prepared remarks, he took questions from the audience. close
