Members of the Congressional Black Caucus briefed reporters on the U.S. Army investigation into sexual misconduct between drill sergeants and enlisted women in Aberdeen, MD. They stated that recent statements by some of the female alleged victims that they were coerced into accusing African-American drill sergeants of raping them creates doubts about the objectivity of the investigation. They also announced that they sent letters to the House National Security Committee and the Senate Armed Services Committee to create a new body to continue the investigation. close
