After meeting with Vice President Al Gore and Attorney General Janet Reno on juvenile justice, several attorneys general talked with reporters. After they made statements about several crime initiatives, they took questions mostly about the Liggett tobacco company’s lawsuit settlement in which it agreed to put more direct warning labels on its products and to cooperate in lawsuits against other tobacco companies. close
