Secretary of State Madeline Albright compared the foreign policy debates of the post World War II era with those of the post Cold War era. She stressed that although circumstances differed, the challenges and the choices for the U.S. remained essentially the same. She focused particularly on the debate over NATO expansion. She also took questions from the audience. Former President Gerald Ford introduced Secretary Albright. The speech took place at the Gerald Ford Museum during it’s rededication celebration. close
