Mr. Gorbachev said that his meeting with Mr. Bush at Malta solidified their relationship where they frankly discussed global political issues and developed a mutual trust for each other. He then reviewed some of his more memorable interactions with President Bush. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Gorbachev took questions from the audience.
