The United States Holocaust Memorial Council hosted a ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda to remember Holocaust victims and survivors, as well as the soldiers who liberated them from German concentration camps in the closing months of World War II. Speakers included Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Members of Congress and Holocaust survivors participated in a candle lighting ceremony. close
