President Bill Clinton (D-Arkansas) and others commemorated the 50th anniversary of the European Recovery Program, known as the Marshall Plan. Secretary of State George C. Marshall was the driving force behind it.

They spoke about the importance of the plan to the rebuilding of European democracies and stressed the legacy that must be upheld to honor Secretary Marshall. The Netherlands Wind Ensemble provided music and a video presentation was also shown. close
