Alan Locke and Ronald Faucheux opened up the series of forums discussing political campaigns. Dick Morris then discussed the profession of political consulting. He talked about the “basic biorhythms” of the current political process and said he believed that the American electorate moves in cycles; there is debate, resolution and then consensus. Mr. Morris also said that the fundamental secret of the winning Clinton campaign was that there was a consensus in the electorate that would transcend the two parties and galvanize the people. Mr. Morris has advised political candidates from both parties. close
