Senate Judiciary subcommittee members heard testimony from several judges from the fifth and eleventh circuits and legal scholars on the levels of funding and staffing for the federal court system. The witnesses testified about their resources versus their caseloads and how the federal courts can be made more efficient. This was the third in a series of subcommittee hearings on the needs of the federal court system. close
