Ceremony to formally unveil the statue of three suffragists, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott and Susan B. Anthony. Songs from the suffrage era and patriotic songs were sung by the West Potomac Park (MD) High School Girls Choir. Actors portrayed Frederick Douglass and Elizabeth Cady Stanton and various speakers talked about the history of the suffrage movement. Lynn Sherr, ABC News a biographer of Susan B. Anthony, presided over the ceremonies.
