EPA Administrator Carol Browner spoke about how federal and local governments and citizens can work together to comply with new air pollution standards. She and Vice President Al Gore signed new clean air regulations last week. Administrator Browner also talked about the upcoming congressional review of the new regulations and predicted Congress would see that the regulations make sense and are the right thing to do. She then took questions from the audience. close
