New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial (D) talked about the importance of learning history through experiencing and seeing famous places as a supplement to reading about history. Mayor Morial is the son of the first African-American mayor in New Orleans. Mayor Morial also talked about the future of the civil rights movement in the United States. Following his prepared remarks, Mayor Morial took questions from the audience. close
