Author John Toland talked about his new book, Captured by History: One Man’s Vision of our Tumultuous Century, published by St. Martins Press. The book chronicles his life and work as a historian of significant events and persons of World War II. Mr. Toland has interviewed many of the important figures in the history of the twentieth century and his book relates the information he was able to glean from them.

Mr. Toland died in January 2004 at age 91. close
