Vice President Gore addressed a union rally on organizing, which was an event prior to the opening of the AFL-CIO’s biennial convention. Mr. Sweeney and Mr. McEntee introduced the vice president. Vice President Gore outlined several instances in which employers have discriminated against union members or workers who associated with union organizers. The vice president also urged union members to keep fighting for their rights and thanked them for their support of the Clinton administration. close
