Mr. Bell spoke at a 30th anniversary celebration of Third World Press. He spoke about the state of racism in the U.S. and the need to convince white people that the vestiges of racism and privilege are still very real to African-Americans. He also referred to President Clinton’s speech on race in San Diego and his upcoming book, Afrolantica Legacies, which will be published by Third World Press. close
