Telephone lines were open for comments on the shooting of Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords. Six people were killed and 13 others wounded. Scenes were shown of staff members at the White House and House of Representatives members and staff gathered on the steps of the U.S. Capitol for a moment of silence for Representative Giffords. close
