Mrs. Clinton spoke about the Northern Ireland peace process. She focused on the role of individual women in fostering peace between Protestants and Catholics. This was the first of an annual lecture series in honor of Joyce McCartean, who founded a women’s center in 1987 to help united Catholics and Protestants.
