Orlando Patterson talked about his new book, "The Ordeal of Integration: Progress and Resentment in America’s Racial Crisis". The book examines how African Americans view the progress of the race over time and how any progress is clouded by the perception of bias in race relations. Mr. Patterson also discussed how liberals and conservatives view and think about race relations. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Patterson answered questions from the audience. close
