President Clinton received the first annual Rabin-Peres Award, an honor for those who have made a significant contribution to peace efforts in the Middle East. Mr. Peres called the event a “moving moment” and talked about the admiration he and the late Yitzhak Rabin shared for President Clinton. The president recalled his relationship with Prime Minister Rabin and said he was honored to receive the award. close
