As part of a conference on global climate change policy, Thomas Schelling, Professor of Public Affairs at the University of Maryland, discussed the costs and benefits of greenhouse gas reduction. He emphasized that the U.S. should be leading the world in reducing greenhouse gases and suggested that the developing countries will need financial help to reduce emissions.
